Biography

Michael's practice focuses on intellectual property and technology. Michael has extensive experience in patent and trademark prosecution, intellectual property licensing, copyright, trade secrets, and joint development agreements, including university research agreements and governmental agency cooperative research agreements (CRADAs). Prior to joining the firm, he was in-house IP counsel responsible for managing and maintaining large U.S. and worldwide patent and trademark portfolios for established and emerging technologies. His technical experience includes oil and gas technologies, renewable energies, nutrition, polymers, mining, resins, building products, and fertilizers.
