Biography

Stephen Koch has more than twenty years of experience in Intellectual Property, Licensing, and Oil and Gas Transactions. He has drafted and prosecuted patents in offshore petroleum exploration and production technologies, and has led patent portfolio development and management activities for both the United States and for foreign jurisdictions. He has negotiated upstream oil and gas agreements in the United States, Europe, and Africa. He has negotiated intellectual property licensing transactions in the United States, Europe, China, and Russia, among other foreign countries. His technology expertise is based on prior experience in electrical engineering, ocean engineering, and oceanography.
