Biography

Michael is an Army veteran and former researcher and field tester of various combat systems at the Army Research Laboratories in Aberdeen, Maryland. Since graduating law school, Michael served as in-house counsel at the Veteran's Affairs, managing contracts, union representation, and employment disputes. Michael now specializes in intellectual property law with a focus on litigation. His practice covers a variety of patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets disputes related to a wide range of technologies, including safety equipment, chemicals, mining, storage, corrosion prevention, disinfectants, medical diagnostic tools, and polymers, as well as design patents. Prior to law school, Michael also worked as an environmental engineer for the State of Louisiana's Health and Human Services focused on the inspection, testing, and maintenance of water wells, water treatment facilities, water storage, and all public access to water.
